Access prides itself on its ability to undertake bespoke Fabrication.
With the broad knowledge within the company and all the different skills in-house, we have yet to be set a problem that we could not come up with a suitable design or product solution to solve it.
Custom-made and special one-off pieces are sometimes required for situations that arise on site when there is no option for the route.
Ductwork
We can supply ductwork manufactured from galvanised steel, stainless steel or zintec for painted finish.
Grill Boxes
These are needed on nearly all contracts. We can supply any size and also with flat and spigots to facilitate limited ceiling space.
Square to Rounds
Bespoke pieces to suit individual transformation pieces on problem off-sets going from square or rectangular to circular.
Special one-off pieces
Roof cowls were required to replace the existing ones that had gone rusty and were falling to bits. We dismantled what was left of them, and replicated all the internal features. They were then wrapped externally with 1.2mm galvanised steel. Then the complete units were powder coated as close to the original colour as was possible.
We have been fortunate that we have been asked to get involved with some very interesting projects, and have worked closely with the lads on site and even a professor.
Standard ductwork
We supply all the standard rectangular ductwork on a daily basis, all manufactured to at least DW144 low pressure.
Of course, we also manufacture circular fittings that are not off-the-shelf items.
Stainless Steel & Fire Rated Ductwork
Predominately used in the catering industry, we supply extraction canopies, preparation tables and all associated products.
Fire Rated Ductwork
We are accredited with licenced approval from Fire-Mac to manufacture 1, 2 and 4 hour Fire Rated Ductwork.
We have had our Fire Rated Ductwork installed in many well-known public buildings, as well as restaurants and fast food stores.
All installed projects can obtain certification to prove it has been manufactured and installed correctly. This is issued from Fire-Mac after an inspection or, in some cases, from photographic evidence.
We can provide assistance on the installation and all correct gasket, sealant and advice on instruction on required installation supports and fixings.
A/C Header Boxes
Most ducted units require a header box to allow connection to ductwork supplying temperature controlled air at the desired level.
Just tell us the connection size and required number and spigot sizes.
Extraction Canopies
We are able to offer a full range of industrial catering canopies, from an island canopy to smaller wall-mounted types.
They can be extract only or fresh air supply if required.
Also, they can have inset lights at an extra cost. We supply extract baffles that are easily removed for cleaning and inspection purposes.
Fans
We can supply all types of extract, recirculation and supply fans.
Ventilation
Whether it be plastic, steel or flexible ducting, we can supply it all. We manufacture all rectangular galvanised ductwork in our modern 10,000sq foot unit, and offer a fast turnaround for urgently required products.
Kitchen Extract
We supply kitchen extract ducting for large industrial kitchens, as well as the take-away shops and sandwich shops. Please also see the extraction canopy section.

Bollards
Parking space bollards are ideal for making sure your parking space will be available when you require it. Also it acts as a deterrent to car thieves. The fixed bollards are designed for traffic control. Ideal for car parks or segregating pedestrian areas. These are manufactured from either steel or stainless steel.
TV Safe
The TV safe was designed mainly for use in beer gardens and external venues, where security is required for flat screen televisions. Since the smoking ban was introduced, the number of televisions being externally mounted has increased significantly.
Structure Supports
RSJ steel lintels, or Gurdens are the most common supports we are asked for. These are supplied, cut to length and primed ready for installation.

While it’s impossible to list all the different types of frames available, we do provide a selection of them, complete with photos to illustrate their applications.
Ramps
