Retractable Dock Shelters

Simple, universal and effective, Retractable Dock Shelters offer a general purpose seal to cater for most applications. Designed to recoil on impact to extend the shelter life, Dock Shelters are available in Dock Mounted, Ground Mounted and Adjustable Head models. Adjustable Head Curtains are also available to extend the usable range and to enable a wider variety of vehicles to be effectively sealed to the loading area.

  • A red dock leveller platform with yellow safety railings and silver toe guards is installed on a concrete loading dock area. The platform has a textured, non-slip surface and features reflective tape for visibility and safety.

  • Vehicle Loading Bay Dock Bumper

    Dock Bumpers

    Standard Rubber Dock Bumpers, designed to protect a Loading Dock from reversing HGVs. Can be attached using a back plate and their life can be extended greatly if also installed with a front plate. 750mm Dock Bumpers prevent HGVs under-riding the bumper and ripping it off the wall. If they are installed with a bracket it is also possible to prevent the delivery vehicle from over-riding as well. The A019 Dock Bumper has a low friction co-efficient front plate made from 40mm thick ultra-high-molecular-weight-polyethylene.

    Edge protection

    We were asked by our customer to design and install a gate that would protect workers from falling off the edge when the bay was empty.

    This BI folding gate whilst offering the safety required also opens to not hinder normal loading procedure.

  • Yellow metal floor-mounted Vehicle Wheel Guides for a Loading Bay

    Wheel Guides

    This pair of bolt-down Wheel Guides are galvanised and yellow powder coated. Their 5mm thick wall thickness makes them a very durable driver aid, ensuring that trailers contact the Loading Dock squarely. The outside diameter of the steel tube is 165mm.
